Somatic coaching

I offer somatic coaching sessions online and face to face for anyone wanting to release suppressed emotions and limiting beliefs, get more connected with their body and self and to live life to the fullest, in their true, authentic expression.

This may also be helpful for people with chronic pain and other health issues that just don’t seem to budge. Maybe there’s an emotional component that you haven’t addressed yet?

Somatic coaching is a so called bottoms up approached, where we approach the issues through the body and the felt sense. The starting point can be a particular issue you’ve had come up, or a sensation in your body.

We then work on your resource (your safe place/human/event) and then move on to curiously and compassionately explore the felt sense in the body and whatever comes up with that (emotions, images, movies etc). This is done at your pace, in a safe space where you get to decide how deep you go, making sure you can handle the discomfort that may arise throughout the experience.

I'm currently based in Helsinki, Finland but I'm open to travelling and doing face to face immersion sessions (1-3 days) with you somewhere that feels good for the both of us.

In face to face session I also use osteopathy (mainly cranial and biodynamic techniques) to facilitate physical healing, while using somatics to help you access suppressed emotions that are stored in the body, to become aware of them and to release them.

Whether we're working online or face to face, I help you find and release old patterns and limiting beliefs. I help you face your fears, define your boundaries and practice setting them with me and others.

I help you to get comfortable sitting in the discomfort of meeting your inner child, discovering needs that have gone unmet and suppressed emotions, and the grief that inadvertently arises from the change process. I’m there to support you on your journey in any way I can, and in a way that feels good for both of us.

If this resonates, contact me for a no pressure chat on what I do and how I might be able to help you.
